Upgrading reCAPTCHA v1 to reCAPTCHA v2

 As part of the reCAPTCHA upgrade from version 1 to 2, it is mandatory to provide the "domain name" to generate the site and secret keys. The hosting team should provide the domain name and follow the steps given below to generate the keys for reCAPTCHA.

Steps to generate the site and secret keys for reCAPTCHA

  1. Navigate to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin.

  2. Log into Google account. 
    The reCAPTCHA page is displayed.
  3. Register a new site by providing the required details.

      1. Enter the Label.
      2. Choose the type of reCAPTCHA as v2. 
      3. Enter the domain name. For example- ca.comcacloudminder.net
      4. Read and Accept the reCAPTCHA terms and conditions.
      5. Click Register.
    After registration, you will be provided with a new set of Site Key (Public key) and Secret Key (Private Key).

You should perform the steps mentioned below (for each tenant) for captcha to work in the the following scenarios:

  • Create New Account (CAMSelfRegistration)
  • Recover Forgotten Username (ForgottenUserId) 
  • Forgotten Password (ForgottenPassword) 
  • Credential Enrollment (CredentialEnrollment)


Steps to change the site and secret keys for Self Registration Task:

  1. Log into the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.

  2. Navigate to Tasks> Roles and Tasks> Admin Tasks> Modify Admin Task.
    The Modify Admin Task:Select Admin Task page is displayed.
  3. Under "Search for an Admin Task", type "*Create New Account*" and click Search.
    The Search Results are displayed.
  4.  From the search table, select CAMSelfRegistration  under "Tag" field,and click Select. 
    The Create New Account page is displayed.
  5. Click Tabs.
  6. Under "Which tabs should appear in this task?", click the pencil icon beside profile.
    The Configure Profile page is displayed.
  7. Click Browse available beside the Search Screen field. 
    The Select Screen Definition page is displayed.
  8. Click Edit.
    The Configure Standard Profile screen is displayed.
  9. Click on the pencil icon beside CAPTCHA to edit the field properties.
  10. Edit the "Name" field and replace "Type the Words" with "Enter reCAPTCHA".
  11. Delete the value in the "Label right" field.
  12. Replace the Data (Site key) and Secret key (Secret key) with the new keys that you received after the completion of reCAPTCHA registration and click Apply.
  13. Scroll down the Configure Standard Profile screen and click OK.
  14. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page, click select.
  15. Scroll down the Configure Profile page and click OK.
  16. In the Tabs page, click Submit.
    Task Completed message is displayed.
  17. Sign out from the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.
    The login page is displayed.
  18. Click Register.
    The Create New Account page is displayed with reCAPTCHA.

    If required, repeat the above steps for Create New Account (CAMSelfRegistrationDomainValidation), Create New Account (CAMSelfRegistrationOpenFormat), Create New Account (CAMSelfRegistrationWorkflow)

Steps to change the site and secret keys for Recover Forgotten Username Task:

  1. Log into the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.

  2. Navigate to Tasks> Roles and Tasks> Admin Tasks> Modify Admin Task.
  3. Under "Search for an Admin Task", type "*Forgot*" in the empty field and click Search.
  4. Select "Recover Forgotten Username" from the list and click Select.
    The "Modify Admin Task: Recover Forgotten Username" page is displayed.
  5. Navigate to the Search tab and click Browse beside the "Search Screen" field.
    The Select Screen Definition page is displayed.
  6. Select "Forgotten User ID Search" and then click Edit.  
    The Configure Forgotten Password Search Screen is displayed.
  7. Click Browse besides the "Profile Screen for Identification."
  8. Select "Forgotten User ID Identify" and then click Edit.
    The Configure Standard Profile screen is displayed.
  9. Click on the pencil icon beside Captcha to edit the field properties.
  10. Edit the "Name" field and replace "Type the Words" with "Enter reCAPTCHA".
  11. Delete the value in the "Label right" field.
  12. Replace the Data (Site key) and Secret key (Secret key) with the new keys that you received after the completion of reCAPTCHA registration and click Apply.
  13. Scroll down the Configure Standard Profile screen and click OK.
  14. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page, click Select. 
  15. Scroll down the Configure Forgotten Password Search screen and click OK.
  16. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page and click Select.
  17. In the Search tab, click Submit.
    Task Completed message is displayed.
  18. Sign out from the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.
    The login page is displayed.
  19. Click Forgot Username.
    The Recover Forgotten Username page is displayed with reCAPTCHA.


Steps to change the site and secret keys for Forgotten Password Task:

  1. Log into the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.

  2. Navigate to Tasks> Roles and Tasks> Admin Tasks> Modify Admin Task.
  3. Under "Search for an Admin Task", type "*Forgot*" in the empty field and click Search.
  4. Select "Forgotten Password" from the list and click Select.
    The "Modify Admin Task: Forgotten Username" page is displayed.
  5. Navigate to the Search tab and click Browse beside the "Search Screen" field.
    The Select Screen Definition page is displayed.
  6. Select "Forgotten Password Search" and then click Edit.  
    The Configure Forgotten Password Search Definition Screen is displayed.
  7. Click Browse besides the "Profile Screen for Identification."
  8. Select "Forgotten Password Identify" and then click Edit.
    The Configure Standard Profile screen is displayed.
  9. Click the pencil icon beside Captcha to edit the field properties.
  10. Edit the "Name" field and replace "Type the Words" with "Enter reCAPTCHA".
  11. Delete the value in the "Label right" field.
  12. Replace the Data (Site key) and Secret key (Secret key) with the new keys that you received after the completion of reCAPTCHA registration and click Apply.
  13. Scroll down the Configure Standard Profile screen and click OK.
  14. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page, click Select. 
  15. Scroll down the Configure Forgotten Password Search screen and click OK.
  16. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page and click Select.
  17. In the Search tab, click Submit.
    Task Completed message is displayed.
  18. Sign out from the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.
    The login page is displayed.
  19. Click Forgot Password.
    The Forgotten Password page is displayed with reCAPTCHA.


Steps to change the site and secret  keys for Credential Enrollment Task:

  1. Log into the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.

  2. Navigate to Tasks> Roles and Tasks> Admin Tasks> Modify Admin Task.
  3. Under "Search for an Admin Task", type "*Credential Enrollment*" in the empty field and click Search.
  4. Select "Credential Enrollment" from the list and click Select.
    The "Modify Admin Task: Credential Enrollment" page is displayed.
  5. Navigate to the Search tab and click Browse beside the "Search Screen" field.
    The Select Screen Definition page is displayed.
  6. Select "Credential Enrollment User Search" and then click Edit.  
    The Configure Credential Enrollment User Search Definition Screen is displayed.
  7. Click Browse besides the "Profile Screen for Identification."
  8. Select "User Identification Profile" and then click Edit.
    The Configure Standard Profile screen is displayed.
  9. Click the pencil icon beside Captcha to edit the field properties.
  10. Edit the "Name" field and replace "Type the Words" with "Enter reCAPTCHA".
  11. Delete the value in the "Label right" field.
  12. Replace the Data (Site key) and Secret key (Secret key) with the new keys that you received after the completion of reCAPTCHA registration and click Apply.
  13. Scroll down the Configure Standard Profile screen and click OK.
  14. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page, click Select. 
  15. Scroll down the Configure Credential Enrollment User Search screen and click OK.
  16. Scroll down the Select Screen Definition page and click Select.
  17. In the Search tab, click Submit.
    Task Completed message is displayed.
  18. Sign out from the CA Secure Cloud Tenant console.
    The login page is displayed.
  19. Click on either of the Advanced Authentication method (OTP/PKI), enter the credentials and click login. 
    The CA ArcotID Credential registration page is displayed.
  20. Click Continue.
    The Credential Enrollments page is displayed with reCAPTCHA.
