It would be more beneficial to separate features requiring an EM upgrade from those requiring an agent upgrade. AN EM upgrade is relatively easy, compared with an Agent upgrade - for a large environment.

It would also be useful to discuss (somewhere) the planning aspects of an EM upgrade, especially for large environments - such as (5) or more EMs under management. There is no reason for folks to have to figure this out on their own.

      Hi Michael,

Thank you very much for your valuable input! These are good points and we will discuss with the team to see how we can incorporate the information.

May we provide a way on this page to filter by component (such as just ATC)? See https://communities.ca.com/message/241969735?commentID=241969735&et=watches.email.thread#comment-241969735 for discussion

Thanks for the enhancement idea. We'll scope it out.

This is a great additional to the documentation. To make it even more helpful to admins and application teams both would be to have every component/extension/integration (e.g. MOM, Collector, Java Agent, .NET Agent, WebView, Team Center, Web Server extension, ASM integration, etc.) as a separate group that could be expanded or clicked to a separate page where it lists all that component's features by release and a link to more detail about the feature. This allows admins to decide if it's worth the effort to upgrade that particular component and it allows admins to work with application teams to decide if there's value in upgrading their agent from one version to another based on features or enhancements to features.

    Thanks!
